Well our London team is all back home now and school has to start Monday for our students. Frankly, they had a years worth of educational experience in London in two weeks. Where else can you living in a mixed international community with Germans, Dutch, Taiwanese, Koreans, Pakistanis and others? AND Where else can you learn about evangelsim and then go and do it? AND Where else can you wash dishes, take out trash and clean tables? AND Where else can you come to the end of your biblical knowledge? AND Where else can you see the joy of community, the desperate need for the gospel and the Spirit working in hearts?
Well done team. You were good and faithful servants. Picture Party to follow soon!

Nearing the End of our Outreach
Hello. This is Connie.
I can't believe the two weeks of Outreach is almost over. I think most of the team members have mixed feelings about going home. We have fallen in love with London, the people of London, and the fellow team members from around the world. Yet, we want real beds, no waiting in line for showers, and Chick-Fil-A!
I think (and hope) we will all leave here changed. We have been stretched, we have been pruned, we have been emptied of ourselves. We have done things way out of our comfort zones - especially the more introverted of the group. We have learned so much, yet we know there is so much more to learn. We have had victories and we have felt discouraged. Through it all we pray we have decreased and God has increased.
Please pray as tomorrow we go on our last outreach. Pray that we will finish this race strong, rising above the weariness our bodies and minds feel from the fast pace of the two weeks. Pray that what we attempt will not be about our success, but about glorifying God. Thanks for praying.

Back to London
Hello all, this is Randy. I returned Friday and have been in a whirlwind of work, but wanted to post this short blog to my former teamates. You all rock! I so agree with Eddie that each member of this team has grown and given and been willing to be stretched for the glory of God. I look forward to our reunion.
I am sure the night of prayer this week will be amazing and that each of you will engage in Christ centered conversations. I do have to saying I am appreciating a daily shower and a king sized bed, but I would trade them to be on the streets with you all where the Spirit moves and the wind blows. I am praying for you!

What I'm Learning
Hey all, this is Eddie and I'm a baby blogger.
What I'm learning ......
I'm learning that I stink at football (soccer) ... that my daughter is much better at handing out tracts than me ... that you never know what to expect when going door to door ... that, sadly, many of the Muslim missionaries know the bible better than I do.
I'm learning to like sleeping on an air mattress ... to handle my job as "toilet manager" with pride ... how to wash dishes (yes Leah) ... how to vacuum and clean ... and soon I will have to learn how to do laundry so I will stop smelling.
I'm learning how to worship in different languages and different styles ... that there are 307 languages spoken in London ... that Speakers Corner is hard ... that God's family is warm ... that believers from Germany, England, Northern Ireland, and South Korea are part of my family ... that my favorite Pakistani might be the most passionate and bold believer I have ever known.
I'm learning that Trey, Cecily, Jenny, Graham, Rachel M., Abby, Patrick, Daniel, Leanna, Michael, and Rachel E. are a great team and will bear much fruit ... that Ryan really is gifted in taking us to the throne ... that Connie shepherds well ... that Carrie Anne is missed ... and that Randy walks briskly.
I'm learning more and more about their religion ... how to set aside fear and rely on His love and power ... that God is not American but the Lord of all nations ... lastly, I'm learning how to depend less on me and more on Him.

Hard good day on the street
Our group went to work the book table and hand out tracts yesterday. It was a hard good day. Many in our group realized how little we know the Word and how little we can defend the claims of Christ. Muslims came to ask questions. Hard ones; and we entered into "discussion" with them. We handed out tracts to those interested. Who knows what God might do. We were faithful to do as commanded and He will bring those to Him who are His.
The team is doing well. Blessings

Hey everybody this is Jenny. So I haven't ever really written on a blog before...its kind of nerve wracking : 0 ...just kidding.
We have been here almost a week and have experienced several different things. London is so culturally and ethnically diverse its very interesting to walk down the street and hear the different languages and accents. We have had a couple of training days where we learned a lot of information...and we have gone out evangilizing a couple times as well. It is sometimes scary and intimatidating when you first go out evangilizing, but God is there and in control and we all just need to remember to trust in Him and pray that the good news of Christ spreads and His Kingdom grows.
We have also done some site seeing which I thought was awesome...we even rode a double decker bus (I'm not gonna lie it was pretty fun), and we went shopping....we also went to St. Pauls Cathadrel. Last Friday we went to several famous sites and took TONS of pictures.
Well I guess thats all the blogging for tonight.

On the Street On our Knees
This is Randy. The team hit the streets Tuesday, sharing the gospel. For some it was a first time. Being bold enough as a young adult to strike up a conversation, asking a muslim woman who is sitting under the shade of a tree at a park why she wears a head covering or, handing out tracts and getting rejected over and over again was a both exhilarating and frightening. None of the team shrunk back. All bravely went forward, because they had clothed themselves with compassion (Col 3) and had cast their anxiety on Him. He led.
We also saw the streets of London in a new way. We came upon a man who had just been robbed, we chatted with street vendors, we met people who were worshipping at the shrine of Abbey Road Studios. People looking for something. Some life, some satisfaction. To be part of something.
The church part of a team is staying at is literally five minutes from: Lord's Cricket Ground (home of cricket); Regent's Park and the largest mosque in London; and Abbey Road Studios.
As far as the pastor here knew, no one had ever prayer walked in and around Abbey Road Studio, so off we went. It is the home of the most influential secular music in the world. In front of the studio of course is the famous cross walk. The studio has a white wall to keep tourists out. Thousands of people have written either their name on the wall, or some tribute to the Beatles. It really is a shrine. As I looked closely at it, I noted that it had been painted over many times. In others words, each year they wipe off the names of those who came to worship. A bit different I thought than the Book of Life.
A young woman sat down with a guitar and began to play (poorly even by my standard. I asked her what she was playing and she showed me the song sheet for "Let it Be". She was from Korea and only knew a few words of English, so I could not engage her in conversation. I told her it was a spiritual song about finding yourself in times of trouble. She smiled and nodded. I wished we had someone who could speak Korean. We have a German, Dutchman and Taiwanese on our team. I wondered if she found it meaningful to play that song there, or if she left just as sad as she looked.
Last night we spent four hours in prayer and worship (yes students can go that long and longer) It is the older ones of us who get a bit creaky. We prayed for the nations. Your Perimeter worship team led well, to tears, to repentance, to faith and to broken hearts for Sudan, Darfur, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Somalia and London. The Word needs to break forth and God's people are called to sacrifice by going, giving and sending. He is the God of the City.
